We live in a highly collaborative and competitive new world of digital assets, diverse global participants, complex incentives, and relentless demand for innovation drawing upon a diverse set of skills. We have outgrown the current systems of innovation.
Thinker DAO is designed to be a planetary-scale data-driven infrastructure for the rapid evolution of innovation outcomes within a diverse and fair ecosystem of creators, consumers, and investors. The system focuses on a framework to create trusted economic and non-economic incentives for cooperation and competition in a diverse pool of creative assets and talent in technology, media, data, and code, which can be optimized with machine learning and AI.
ThinkerDAO is a protocol proven in 900 innovation projects around the world for startups, NGOs, and multinationals involving thousands of collaborators in hundreds of organizations all over the world. It is not a cryptocurrency nor a system of rampant speculation, it exists to improve innovation outcomes.
Innovation is the highest value human activity. Yet existing systems are failing innovation on a variety of levels, among them: 1) current and future problems are too big to be solved by one organization or nation; 2) innovation is global but policy is local, 3) innovation systems are resistant to machine analysis and automation; 4) IP systems from patents to open source can discourage collaboration due to loss of economics; 4) legal frameworks carry too much overhead to allow rapid collaboration and failures; and 5) innovation systems are not broadly participatory, resulting in significant lost opportunity.

Innovation involves many groups producing the components of innovation, all evolving in many directions in timeframes ranging from hours to decades, succeeding and failing in a global "coopetition" to solve key problems. No system of human or machine intelligence attempting to understand and improve innovation can effectively operate without understanding these dynamics, which current innovation systems fail to capture.

Thinker DAO is the blockchain implementation of the Global Innovation Network operated for over a decade.
The Innovation Manifesto contains the foundational principles of our global mission to improve the human condition. It was authored with members of our Global Innovation Network in 2015.
We are constantly brainstorming new projects that use Thinker DAO as a way to incentivize the fair sharing of innovation assets. The global digitalization of information leads to a billion-fold increase of potential reuses and misuses of digital assets that require a new infrastructure to manage.
